Liana Ramon, LCPC
THERAPIST
“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall” — Nelson Mandela
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who uses a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy. I draw from evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds and am especially passionate about supporting BIPOC individuals and those within the LGBTQIA+ community.
I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. My goal is to create a supportive, safe space where clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths, and improve their quality of life. I approach trauma work with care and a holistic perspective, recognizing that trauma takes many forms and that seeking support can sometimes feel uncertain. Using an intersectional lens, I honor each client’s unique experiences and believe that clients are the experts in their own lives.
My experience includes working with at-risk youth, individuals living with severe mental illness, and both traditional and nontraditional college students. Alongside talk therapy, I incorporate creative and mindfulness-based approaches when words are hard to find, helping clients build resilience, confidence, and lasting well-being.
